Description: HJ350 is defined as fused type fluxes medium-manganese, medium-silicate and medium fluorine elements, color in brown to high yellow, with vitreous granules 8-40 meshes in size. Fluxes are suitable for use both AC and D.C. When applying D.C, filler-wire will be connected to electrode positive (EP). Fluxes have good welding technological behavior.
Field of application: Fluxes match proper filler-wire (i. e SU26、SU34、SUM3 etc) of which may be use for welding of low-alloyed steel (i. e. 16Mn、15MnVN、15MnV etc) important structures for example: ships, boilers, pressure vessels etc. As required by fine-granule fluxes, they can be used for SAW with filler-wire to serve thin-plating weld.
Typical compositions of fluxes in: (%)
| MnO+SiO2 | CaF2+CaO+Al2O3 | S | P |
| 44-55 | 37-56 | ≤0.035 | ≤0.04 |
Typical mechanical properties of deposited metals combined filler-wire and flux:
| Filler-wire Selected | ó b MPa | ó s MPa | δ 5 % | AKV(J) | |
| 0℃ | -20℃ | ||||
| Guaranteed Value | 480-660 | ≥400 | ≥22 | >27 | >27 |
| EH14 | 524 | 410 | 31 | 115.3 | 55 |
Remarks:
     1.Before welding, fluxes need to be baked for two(2)hours at around 300-350℃.
    2.Removal of rust, oil, dirt, water, impurities etc in welding-areas.
