Conforming to:GB/T12470 S490AAS-SU34
Description: HJ 251 is defined as fused type fluxes with low manganese medium silicate and medium fluorine, color in light yellow to light green, with jaded stone form granules 10-60 meshes in size. They are suitable for use with D.C. power source, filler-wire will be connected to electrode positive (EP) good welding technological behavior.
Field of application: Fluxes match Cr-Mo steel filler-wire being for welding of pealite resistant-heat steel, for instance, turbine rotors and of other low alloy steel.
Typical compositions of fluxes in: (%)
| SiO2+Al2O3 | CaF2+CaO+MgO | S | P |
| 36-45 | 40-53 | ≤0.05 | ≤0.08 |
Mechanical properties of deposited metal: (GB/T12470 F48A0-H10Mn2)
| Test Item | ó s (Mpa) | ó b (Mpa) | δ 5( %) | Akv (J) 0℃ |
| Guaranteed Value | ≥400 | 490-660 | ≥20 | ≥27 |
| Test Value | 414 | 530 | 30 | 115 |
Remarks:
1.Before welding, fluxes need to be baked two(2) hours at 300-350℃.
2.Removal of rust, oil, dirt, water, impurities etc in welding-areas.
